Where Technology and Teamwork come together… Northrop Grumman Information Technology (NGIT) sector is seeking a Malware/Media Forensic Analyst to join our team in defining the future. This position will be located in Arlington, VA. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s dynamic team. Working as an Information Technology Security Specialist for the Forensic & Malware Analysis Section (F&MA), Computer Network Operations Division (CNOD), US Army 1st Information Operations Command (Land) supporting the Army Computer Emergency Response Team (ACERT) and Information Operations (IO). Roles and Responsibilities: * Knowledge of hacker tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP) * Ability to research vulnerabilities and analyze 0-day exploits * Reverse engineering/exploit analysis experience * Understanding of Networks, socket programming * In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP/Network Protocols * Direct work experience using data recovery software * Ability to perform imaging and forensic analysis * Working knowledge of exploitation tools * Hands-on experience with EnCase/FTK Data Recovery Software Tools. * General understanding of X86 assembly language Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: * Typically the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of work experience or equivalent work related experience without degree. * Position requires a current TS/SCI Clearance Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration Security Clearance Required.
