Tom Hempfield on HP’s CoN from Army

HP reported their HP StorageWorks P4000 SAN solutions have been awarded the Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) from the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command.

The accreditation means that HP P4000 products meet strict U.S. Army and Department of Defense (DoD) standards for security, compatibility and sustainability. This enables government departments to improve the capacity, efficiency and performance of storage area network (SAN) environments while remaining compliant with U.S. military IT standards.

“Government departments can realize the benefits of flexible, cost-effective storage from HP, ” said Tom Hempfield, vice president, U.S. Federal Business Organization, HP. “The DoD certification recognizes HP storage solutions for their high scalability, manageability and security.”
