Northrop Grumman (NYSE:NOC) produced an annual report to the Avondale, La., Newport News, Va. and Pascagoula, Miss. communities reporting the volunteer efforts and contributions of the company’s Shipbuilding sector employees.
“At Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding, we’re committed to building the world’s best military warships and to the people who build them, ” said Mike Petters, corporate vice president and president of Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding. “However, our commitment extends well beyond our 40, 000 shipbuilders who work in Virginia, Mississippi and Louisiana. We believe that improving their quality of life and their neighbors’ results in stronger, more viable communities.”
