Harry Martin, Intelligent Decisions to Sponsor ThanksUSA Golf Tournament

Intelligent Decisions is set to sponsor the ThanksUSA Third Annual Golf Tournament this year at the exclusive Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, VA on May 3, 2010.

ThanksUSA is a non-partisan, non-profit, charitable effort designed to mobilize Americans of all ages to show their appreciation to the men and women of the United States armed forces. This organization awards children and spouses of service members scholarships to help them attend college, technical, and vocational school.

“We are delighted to have Intelligent Decisions continued support for such a fun event, ” said ThanksUSA Executive Director Michele Stork. Since, 2006, ThanksUSA has awarded almost $6 million in scholarships to nearly 2, 000 families across all 50 states and the District of Columbia. “With Intelligent Decisions’ help, this year we plan to award 500 more scholarships to the families of America’s armed forces.”

Ashburn, Va.-based technology services contractor Applied Insight has acquired Stratus Solutions and Applied Technology Group for an undisclosed sum in a push to grow its artificial intelligence, cloud and analytics offerings for defense, intelligence and federal civilian clients.
