Director, Business Development – IDIQ reporting directly to the Sector VP of Business Development is responsible for the strategic engagement of shaping customers and recommending potential solutions. The successful candidate will be capturing, managing, tracking and trending the Sector IDIQ contract vehicles including GSA schedules and GWAC contracts. This includes identifying and qualifying IDIQ business opportunities through the growth of the task order pipeline and creating new sales demand by the use of IDIQ contract vehicles. These responsibilities require actively interfacing with external customers and the divisions with the objective of developing new markets and new business. Consequently, this role also will be responsible for assisting the divisions in the capture of their IDIQ contracts so knowledge and experience with the division customers is a key requirement. The Director also is responsible for providing leadership and vision for the identification and application of IDIQ best practices. The IDIQ director will: a) Provide leadership on the sector’s IDIQ expansion strategy b) Manage the IDIQ team and serve in a senior leader role c) Act on behalf of the Sector VP of BD as necessary in regards to IDIQ vehicles d) Perform other assignments and tasks as assigned by the Sector VP of BD Minimum Qualifications: -Bachelors degree with a minimum of 15 years of demonstrated progressive experience managing people, process and development activities – Understanding of IDIQ contracts and a proven track record for capture, business development and program execution. Program and business experience a plus. -Strong understanding of internal corporate policies and procedures as well as direct network with other Northrop Grumman BD professionals -Strong organizational and leadership skills -Strong interpersonal and communication skills – Demonstrated experience working with and influencing internal and external customers Minimum security clearance: TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain one
