Daon Picked by Unisys to Help Support Mexico ID Program

Daon software has been selected by prime contractor Unisys to support the Government of Mexico’s SNIP (National Service of Personal Identification) program. According to Daon, the platform will deliver multi-modal biometrics fusion, combining iris, finger and face records to increase accuracy.

“The Mexico SNIP project is the world’s largest multimodal and fusion project of its type. We are proud to support the Government of Mexico in providing an advanced, flexible and open solution, ” said Daon CEO Tom Grissen. “Our COTS platform will enable this vital program to rapidly reach operational status and we congratulate Unisys and its consortium partner AXTEL on this impressive contract award.”
