CSC’s Austin Yerks on Protege Honor from DoD

CSC (NYSE: CSC) has been awarded the Nunn-Perry Award for its mentor-protégé agreement with Occam Solutions, Inc., of McLean, Va from the Department of Defense (DoD).

This is the fourth time CSC has earned the honor since it was first awarded in 1995. The Nunn-Perry Award, named in honor of former Senator Sam Nunn and former Secretary of Defense William Perry, recognizes outstanding mentor-protégé teams from the Department of Defense Mentor-Protégé Program.

“At CSC, we are committed to working with small businesses, and large businesses owned by women, minorities, veterans and others of diverse backgrounds, to increase supplier diversity to support our federal clients, ” said Austin Yerks, president of CSC’s North American Public Sector Defense Group. “This award reflects our commitment to nurturing disadvantaged businesses and is a testament to our successful relationship with Occam Solutions.”
