Job Description

The Director, Business Development Strategy reports to the Vice President of Corporate Business Development and is responsible for facilitating strategy development for CEO Priority Win (CPW) captures and corporate campaigns. Engages directly with capture team leadership to facilitate overall strategy and specific methods and applications that assist in improving the probability of winning and protecting the program. The director will mentor CPW capture managers and teams as appropriate to implement best capture practices. The director will provide strategy support for other captures, as identified by the Vice President of Corporate Business Development. The director will serve as a subject matter expert for capture and campaign learning and development programs. Prepares teaching materials, especially case studies, for business development course work and participates in teaching business development processes and best practices. Provides independent assessments of capture and campaign progress, strategy, competitiveness, risk, and leadership to senior management. Coordinates Corporate Business Development activities with corporate Customer Relations, Programs, and Business Management. Basic Qualifications: BA/BS degree is required, preferably in a business or technical field, and a minimum of 15 years related experience in Business Development/Analysis, Technical or Business Management disciplines. An advanced degree is preferred. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance. Must have excellent written and oral presentation skills, including the ability to generate material to communicate to senior executive management. Security Clearance Required.
