SAIC’s Anthony Hess on Dixie Baker’s Federal 100 Listing

SAIC (NYSE: SAI) today announced that Federal Computer Week has named Dixie Baker, Ph.D., to its list of leaders who made significant contributions to the federal information technology community during 2009.  The annual listing recognizes 100 individuals from government, industry and academia. Baker and the other winners will be honored during a ceremony on March 22 at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C.

A technical fellow and senior vice president, Baker serves as chief technology officer for SAIC’s Health Solutions Business Unit. She is a recognized leader in information protection, high-assurance architecture, and health science systems, and has significantly contributed to technology standards for the safe and secure use/exchange of electronic health information.

“Dr. Baker has been a tireless advocate for the safe and secure exchange of health information, ” said Anthony Hess, Ph.D., SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager. “Her work to create national standards that facilitate the safe and secure sharing of health information impacts the community at all levels and sets the stage for how information will be exchanged in the healthcare system of tomorrow.”
