Roger Mody’s House Most Expensive Sale in DC Area of ’09

According to Washington Business Journal, former GovCon executive Roger Mody’s sale of his McLean, Va. estate to the Embassy of Qatar was the most expensive home sold in 2009.

The mansion, located at 211 Chain Bridge Rd. sold for a whopping $16 million against a list price of $20 million.

Mody netted $125 million when he sold his firm Signal to General Dynamics in 2002.
