Creates, maintains, and develops application and system development plans based on customer requirements. The developer then creates the application/system using the Sponsor’s standard tools and processes. Extraordinary tools and processes are used when approved by Sponsor boards to facilitate efforts with unique needs. The developer will, in most cases, create the application/system, test, document, deliver and support the application/system. Depending on the needs of the task, the developer may need to be skilled in one or more of the following, but not limited to the following: hardware, software, databases, communication, and encryption technology.
9+ years of experience Scripting – bash, perl, php Database – MySQL Linux – Redhat, Centos, Ubuntu System development – client server, database, communications, working in a LAMP (Linux, Apache, Mysql, PHP) architecture Web applications – PHP, HTML, Apache, browser customization (firefox), JavaScript, xul VMWare experience PC knowledge – spec, purchase, configure, trouble shoot Security awareness – forensics, secure application configurations, system security, web security. Team Player, and strong communications both oral and written.
