Vangent, Inc. announced that the “FAFSA on the Web” web portal co-designed, built and operated by the company, on behalf of the Department of Education, received the highest citizen satisfaction score in the latest American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) survey of U.S. Federal Government 2009 news and information sites.
“Each year, more than 16 million students apply for more than $100 million in Federal student aid through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Vangent has been a valued partner with the Department of Education in
improving and simplifying the FAFSA, and today, approximately 99% of aid applications are submitted electronically via FAFSA on the Web which has led to greatly improved efficiencies, ” stated Mac Curtis, President and CEO of Vangent.
