NCI’s Terry Glasgow Discusses New IT Deal with Army

NCI, Inc. (NASDAQ:NCIT) has been awarded a single-award task order to provide support for the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC), Enterprise Systems Engineering Directorate in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence/Information Technology (C4I/IT) relocation effort to Ft Meade, MD.

The total potential value of the task order award is $83.7 million if all options are exercised. The period of performance for the base and option period is February 22, 2010, to June 30, 2011.

This win is the latest in a series of NCI wins over the last 18 months on the TEIS contract and validates our strategy of focusing on C4I/IT design and implementation efforts in support of major Department of Defense Headquarter and Combatant Command (COCOM) relocations, whether the requirement is driven as a result of the BRAC initiatives or other mission needs. Other related TEIS awards over the last 18 months include support for the: U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) and Army Reserve Command; the 4th Infantry Division; the 1st Infantry Division; the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM); as well as our Information Assurance BRAC task, ” said Terry W. Glasgow, NCI President.
