Harris Rolls Out New Engineering Support Service

Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS) has introduced Harris CONNECT Engineering Support Services (CESS) to help healthcare organizations rapidly implement the Federal Heath Architecture CONNECT solution – a gateway to the Nationwide Health Information Network (NHIN). CESS enables healthcare organizations to quickly and securely exchange patient health information.

The bundled offering includes CONNECT enterprise services installation, configuration and troubleshooting.

“As the developer of CONNECT, Harris has unique expertise and services to enable healthcare organizations to efficiently participate in the Nationwide Health Information Network, ” said Jim Traficant, vice president and senior executive of Harris Healthcare Solutions. “The CONNECT Engineering Support Services are part of our ongoing commitment to advance NHIN connectivity and the federal health IT initiatives fueling healthcare transformation.”
