CSC (NYSE:CSC) has been awarded a task order by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. As part of the deal, CSC will provide healthcare claims processing system and services. The contract has a one-year base period and four one-year options.
Under the terms of the agreement, CSC and its subcontractor, Plexis Healthcare Systems, will provide the Department of Veterans Affairs Financial Services Center (FSC) with software for a healthcare claims processing system. The FSC will use the system to perform medical claims processing for a variety of programs.
