Powerwave Hires MacLeod

Powerwave Technologies has announced the hiring of wireless industry veteran Jake MacLeod to the position of vice president, government solutions.

Most recently, MacLeod served as principal vice president, chief technology officer and Bechtel fellow at Bechtel Corporation. In that role, he was responsible for Bechtel’s communications engineering services, including all aspects of technical design from network planning to commercial system optimization.

“Powerwave is well positioned to assist government entities with their wireless infrastructure needs, ” said MacLeod. “Powerwave has a successful track record in supplying critical wireless infrastructure and deploying indoor/outdoor wireless coverage systems to accommodate wireless communications for law enforcement and public safety agencies worldwide.”
