Northrop Grumman Corporation has announced that it will donate up to $1 million to help earthquake relief efforts in Haiti.
The company will provide $500, 000 through five agencies supporting the Haiti recovery effort: AmeriCares, American Red Cross International, World Vision International, Care and the Yele Haiti Earthquake Fund.
The company has also committed to matching up to $500, 000 in employee gifts for earthquake relief.
“We join the world community in concern for all those affected by the earthquake in Haiti, and extend our heartfelt sympathy to the victims and their families, and to our fellow citizens and employees who have ties to the country, ” said Wes Bush, Northrop Grumman chief executive officer and president.
