Harris Corporation Boosts Signage Team

Harris Corporation, a Florida-based communications and information technology firm, has announced the hiring of two industry mainstays in an ongoing effort to strengthen Broadcast Communications digital signage team.
Rebecca Walt and Carre Dawson will function as directors of business development in the eastern and western regions of North America, respectively.
Over the past decade, Walt and Dawson have held positions of influence in the digital signage industry.
Dawson, formerly of eVision and EDR Media, has a background in constructing ad-modeling networks and will bring focus to integrated merchandise designs at Harris.  Dawson is the co-chair of the Advocacy Committee for POPAI Digital Signage Association.
Walt, whose background includes positions at Reflect Systems and Technicolor Enterprise Systems, has a background in application and project processes, coupled with a strong reputation of leadership skills.
Harris Corporation will look to the new hires to support an increase in business following wins in digital signage applications for sports stadiums, quick-service restaurants, and hotels and casinos.
