Charlie Church Joins Sevatec

photo-charles_churchSevatec, Inc. has announced that Charles (Charlie) H. Church has joined the firm as Vice President, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) EAGLE II Program Executive.  Mr. Church will spearhead Sevatec’s DHS-wide capture strategy and will lead Sevatec’s efforts to win a Prime award for the DHS EAGLE II contracting vehicle.  In addition, Mr. Church will provide firm-wide expansion strategy support across Defense and other key markets.

Sonny Kakar, Sevatec’s President and CEO, said of Mr. Church’s hiring “I am energized by Charlie joining our leadership team.  Charlie will play an instrumental role in helping us achieve several of our key objectives related to our priority markets – including DHS and DoD.”

Prior to joining Sevatec, Mr. Church was Vice President of Homeland Security and Defense for ACS Federal Solutions from March 2008 to November 2009. From October 2003 – February 2008, and since the inception of DHS, Mr. Church served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the National Protection and Programs Directorate (NPPD), the Information Analysis and Infrastructure Protection (IAIP) Directorate, and Preparedness Directorate of DHS.
