AMERICAN SYSTEMS has announced the promotion of Peter Smith to Chief Operating Officer.

As COO, Peter will build on our 2009 success and help position the company to effectively execute our strategic plan in the years ahead.”

An employee at AMERICAN SYSTEMS since 1980, Smith’s promotion sees him rise to his new role from executive vice president of operations.  He will maintain the duties of his former position while execution of the company’s organic growth strategy and business development.
