The company’s defense business will now be called ITT Defense and Information Solutions. The three new business units will be called:

  • Electronic Systems, which will comprise the Electronic Systems, Communications Systems, and a portion of the Intelligence & Information Warfare division.  The business unit will be based in Clifton, NJ and will shift its focus from separate, point-0f-use products to secure, networked communications systems and sensing, surveillance, and reconnaissance technologies to address electronic warfare threats.
  • Geospatial Systems, which will comprise the Space and Night Systems divisions.  The new business unit will be based in Rochester, NY and will focus on providing networked sensors and next-generation imaging, including space and air sensors, and air/ground/space systems, which transition the company’s capabilities toward image processing and distribution across defense networks.
  • Information Systems, comprised of the Advanced Engineering & Sciences and Systems division as well as part of the Intelligence & Information Warfare division.  This business unit will focus on networked decision support solutions, combining large system operations and maintenance capabilities with sophisticated information integration and protection, including next-gen air traffic control, national intelligence networks, and cybersecurity.
