News- Raytheon- Named on FORTUNE Top 25 List

FORTUNE magazine recently released its 2009 list of 25 Top Companies for Leaders in North American and Raytheon was given this prestigious ranking. This is the first time that Raytheon was awarded this honor.

“We are honored to receive this recognition, ” said Raytheon Chairman and CEO William H. Swanson. “We believe that a strong investment in the development of our leadership is essential to the future success of our company, customers, shareholders and communities.”

A panel of experts compiled this list based on company characteristics such as culture, depth of leadership practices and company reputation.

Raytheon has development many programs to enhance leadership and develop young emerging leaders within the company. Their annual HR review facilitates discussion towards hiring practices, maintaining talent, company culture, customer focus and diversity.
