QinetiQ North America today announced that Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Tom Weston won the Washington Business Journal’s CFO of the Year Award in the government contracting, $200 million and above category.
Weston has led QinetiQ North America’s mergers and acquisition program by acquiring 11 subsidiary companies to provide technology and solutions to government agencies and commercial customers. Weston also helped the company achieve a 42 percent increase in revenue, including a 15 percent organic revenue growth during its last fiscal year.
For the past 18 months, Weston has led the corporate team in acquiring three targeted, high-growth market companies, including the company’s most recent acquisition of Cyveillance Inc. Weston also rebuilt the corporate financial team and integrated acquired entities’ corporate cultures, infrastructures, financial reporting systems and finance teams.
