Contract Award- General Dynamics – $203 Million – US Army

General Dynamics Corp. has been awarded a contract worth $203 million from the U.S. Army TACOM Lifecycle Management Command to design the next-generation Stryker armored combat vehicle.

Under the contract, which continues the Stryker modernization program initially awarded to General Dynamics in 2008, the Army and General Dynamics will develop designs and build a demonstrator to assess how to improve survivability, power, suspension, mobility and integrating new technologies.

Work will be performed in Sterling Heights, Mich.
