Day to Day Work The person selected will be responsible for the full range of marketing functions including:

• Lead development of Federal’s marketing plan based on rigorous situational analysis, market/customer segmentation, and an in-depth understanding of customer requirements.
• Coordinate closely with Federal’s Managing Partners to launch solutions to different vertical segments quickly and efficiently.
• Strategically lead the development of channel and alliance strategies to extend our reach and revenue opportunities in the Federal market.
• Review, communicate and gain approval of the marketing plan with key internal constituents.
• Implement the approved marketing plan. Manage the performance of high visibility projects and investments. Measure project results using appropriate metrics via a performance scorecard.
• Identify and drive market development activities to support new customer acquisition, new market penetration, and market awareness. Consult and assist with developing profitable customer solutions and deals that the company is able to successfully execute.
• Define, review, and gain approval to the messaging in marketing communications, ensuring it supports the Federal and corporate strategies.
• Operate as a marketing leader in external forums and with key industry analysts and influencers.
• Lead, mentor and develop others to accomplish broad set of organizational and professional development goals. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and direction to plans and policies related to the organization’s marketing activities. Responsibilities include development of market objectives, planning, integrated strategic direction and vision, and/or direct corporate alliance strategy. Typically directs activities such as market research, brand/product management, advertising and promotion, and new product development. May have responsibility for a market segment, product line, specific geography or channel. Report revenue responsibility of the incumbent as opposed to the total revenue of the incumbent’s unit.
