James F.X. Payne, senior vice president and general manager of National Security and Cyber Infrastructure at Telecordia was recently named Chair of Galludet Universities Board of Associates.
Galludet University is the world’s premiere liberal arts university for the deaf, hard of hearing and hearing students.
Payne has been a member of the Board of Associates since 1996, and most recently has served in a joint task force for the long-range strategic plan.
“Jim Payne has been a valued friend of this university for many years and I am delighted that the Board of Associates will benefit from his experience and expertise as a respected leader in the business community, ” said Gallaudet President Robert Davila
Payne assumed his position November 6th, 2009.
