GLOBAL Defense announced this morning that Eric S. Rangen has been appointed to the Board of Directors.
Mr. Rangen joins the board as the chair of the audit committee and has been given the title “Audit Committee Financial Expert, ” and will also serve as a member of the Compensation Committee.
Rangen is the Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of UnitedHealth Group, and has held that position since December 2006. In addition to this board placement, he is also a member of the board of directors of FlexSteel Industries, Inc., and the Boys and Girls Club of the Twin Cities, Minnesota.
