SAIC to Provide IT Support for the Navy

Science Applications International Corp. has secured a contract to provide the U.S. Navy Region Southeast with IT-support services, a deal that could be worth $25 million if all options are exercised.

Awarded by the General Services Administration, the contract entails work at Navy installations in the southeast and at locations in the Caribbean. SAIC will provide Intranet and information-assurance support, as well as support for the Emergency Response Management System.

Doug Wagoner, senior vice president and business unit general manager of SAIC , said “We look forward to continuing our support of the Navy’s efforts to enable warfighter readiness by helping Navy Region Southeast rapidly respond to IT challenges, deploy new technologies, and enhance Intranet capabilities.”
