Computer Sciences Corporation has announced that Jackson National Life Insurance Company has licensed CSC’s Business Analytics software to access and analyze business intelligence information from its multiple financial services systems. The software will be used to track key metrics and proactively address rapidly changing market conditions.
Earlier this year, CSC introduced Business Analytics, which leverages SAP BusinessObjects XI solutions, to life-insurance and annuity providers. Jackson is the first company in this market to license the product that comes with prebuilt visual, interactive dashboards and insurance-specific analytical reports that can be used in all Jackson subsidiaries.
Jackson’s Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer George Napoles said the company had been searching for a solution that would extract, reconcile and present data from multiple systems throughout the organization to help it gain greater insight into its business operations and customer actions.
“With CSC’s Business Analytics, we can better position ourselves to reach our strategic growth objectives, ” Napoles said.
