Contract Award – SRA International – $4.4 million – Marine Corps.

SRA International, Inc., which provides technology and strategic consulting services and solutions to government organizations and commercial clients, has been awarded a $4.4 million contract by the Marine Corps Systems Command. The contract covers one base year, plus four option years.

The SRA team, which includes GlobeRanger and RFID Global Solution, Inc., will provide pRFID infrastructure support modifications, sustainment and follow-on services, and standardized pRFID solutions for MEFs. Furthermore, SRA will also provide project management; system maintenance support and sustainment services; system engineering and enhancements; and training.

“We have assembled an exclusive team that represents industry-leading experts in pRFID implementation with more than 900 implementations worldwide, ” said SRA Vice President of Enterprise Logistics Solutions George Batsakis. “Our team will help the Marine Corps fully characterize the requirements and benefits of pRFID, and better understand how to translate this technology into improved service for the warfighter.”
