News – Lockheed Forms New Cybersecurity Technology Alliance

Teaming up with 13 technology providers, Lockheed Martin will form a cybersecurity technology alliance with the aim to find solutions to early-threat detection, protection, and multilayer autonomic self-healing capabilities to solve customers’ problems and meet future challenges. The project also involves construction of a collaboration center called the NexGen Cyber Innovation and Technology Center.

“By bringing the combined strengths of market-leading technology companies to the NexGen Cyber Innovation and Technology Center, we can accelerate development of solutions without boundaries or limitations, ” said Art Coviello, executive vice president of RSA, the Security Division of EMC.

The NexGen Cyber Innovation and Technology Center will serves as an environment where alliance companies and customers can virtually collaborate and innovate new capabilities building on the foundation of point solutions and Lockheed Martin proprietary solutions for seamless end-to-end integration and defense.

The alliance companies include APC by Schneider Electric, CA, Cisco, Dell, EMC Corporation, HP, Intel, Juniper Networks, McAfee, Microsoft, NetApp, Symantec and VMware. Lockheed Martin already holds strategic alliance agreements with Cisco, EMC, HP and Microsoft.
