Job Description

The VP for Business Development is responsible for the overall operation of National Group’s business development directorates. These directorates are the focal point for identifying and qualifying business opportunities, for developing and leading execution of capture plans and efforts for group-level qualified opportunities and for developing and submitting winning proposals. Responsible for the corporate interface for all business development related functions, and reports. Specific responsibilities include synchronizing BD functions within National Group; training and mentoring BD personnel; providing recommendations to GM on Group-level Gate 2 and 3 decisions; prioritizing and resourcing Group-level capture and proposal efforts; applying national group BD SOP policies; providing capture and proposal support to VP, National Group Programs; developing and implementing procedures for group-level use of GovWin and the virtual Proposal Center; Coordinating with the VP for National group Operations for pricing in support of capture and proposal efforts; supporting the MPRI Strategic Plan and Group-level Business Plan development; ensuring viability of Group-level GovWin data for Monthly Financials report; performing Group-level Business Pipeline (GovWin) Quality Control; and preparing Group-level Weekly Activity Report.
