On Monday, SAIC announced that Thomas F. Frist, III has been elected as a member of the SAIC Board of Directors as of Sept. 23, 2009.
Frist has been a principal of Nashville-based investment company Frist Capital, LLC since 1998. Prior to that, he co-managed FS Partners, LLC, and worked at Rainwater, Inc. Since 2006, Frist has served on the board of directors of HCA, Inc. He also served on the board of Triad Hospitals, Inc. from 1999 to 2006.
“Tommy Frist’s background in business and the healthcare industry will be a valuable asset to SAIC and we are honored to welcome him to the board, ” said Ken Dahlberg, executive chairman of the board of SAIC. “We look forward to his contributions in continuing SAIC’s growth and success.”
