News – Daon and Datacard to collaborate on secure identification solutions

Yesterday, Daon announced that it has signed a collaboration agreement with Datacard, a world leader in secure identity and card personalization solutions. The companies will collaborate in the area of secure identification focused on the passport, national ID, government credentialing and driver’s license markets. This agreement helps Datacard and Daon address a growing concern for governments worldwide to identify people with greater accuracy.

“We see this agreement with Datacard as key to our expansion around the globe, ” said Daon CEO Tom Grissen. “Datacard’s desire to collaborate with us is another example of the strength and credibility of Daon’s brand in the global identity assurance market, which we have earned by providing exceptional products and service to our customers.”

Datacard Group has a long history serving the market, and remains a trusted provider of innovative solutions for governments worldwide. Datacard® government solutions have been deployed in more than 325 projects in over 90 countries.
