GLOBAL awarded $2.6 million to extend stay in Africa


Yesterday. Global Strategies Group (GLOBAL) announced that it has been awarded a $2.6M contract extension to deliver a range of security services at Edward Binyah Kesselly (EBK) Military Base in support of its client, PAE Government Services Inc. (PAE), who is engaged in Peacekeeping, Capacity Enhancement and Surveillance efforts in Africa. PAE, which provides logistical, training, and operations & maintenance services to the Armed Forces of Liberia as part of the Liberia Security Sector Reform (SSR) program, is under contract to the U.S. Department of State.

The contract calls for GLOBAL to provide a guard force of armed and unarmed personnel throughout the EBK Military Base. The GLOBAL team will oversee and perform security operations including Main Gate security, personal and vehicle identification and search, perimeter patrol, personal security detail (PSD), and armed escort security (AES).

PAE is a subsidiary specializing in expeditionary construction, logistics, operations and maintenance, and training.
