Contract Award – Unisys – $20 million – City of Santa Clara


Today, Unisys Corporation announced that it has signed a contract with the City of Santa Clara, California/ to provide information technology (IT) and application outsourcing services. The contract runs for five years, and is worth approximately $20 million. There’s also a two-year option that can be exercised by the city.

Under the contract, Unisys will provide IT management and support, including data center and network management, 24-hour service desk, equipment provisioning and maintenance, and deskside services. It will also provide application modernization and support, including Web development and architecture services, which will help the city rationalize and consolidate its application environment, and make it easier for citizens to request services and do business with the city over the Web. Finally, Unisys will offer departmental IT solutions and cross-functional services aimed at making the city’s departments more efficient across the board.

As a result, we expect to operate more productively, strategically and cost-efficiently, and adapt more readily to the changing needs of the city and its citizens.”
