Contract Award – Northrop Grumman – South Korea

Northrop Grumman Corporation’s European-based Northrop Grumman Park Air Systems was awarded a contract at the Gimpo International Airport in Seoul, South Korea. Under the terms of the contract, Northrop Grumman will provide and install ground-to-air communication systems along with a voice communication control system.

Northrop Grumman will provide the airport with a digital end-to-end solution that will integrate with the equipment currently in use. Northrop Grumman expects to complete the contract in 2010, and is the most recent in a string of successfully executing contracts by Northrop Grumman at airports in South Korea. Charles Houseago, managing director of Northrop Grumman’s Park Air Systems, said “Northrop Grumman’s Park Air Systems air traffic control communications equipment has been in operation at Gimpo Airport for many years and we are pleased to have been awarded this contract to upgrade the existing infrastructure.”
