Contract Award – Lockheed Martin – $145 Million – EPA


The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded Lockheed Martin a seven year contract worth $145 million. Lockheed will be responsible for providing analytical and technical assistance during environmental emergencies.

The provisions of the Scientific, Engineering, Response and Analytical Services Program, require Lockheed Martin to provide 24/7 support in environmental emergencies. Lockheed has already provided services to the EPA in the past, with contract awards in 1999 and 2004. Lockheed provides a number of personnel, including scientists, as well as support staff. Lockheed will help to analyze emergency situation, suggest best course of action and assist with remediation.
