General Dynamics Information Technology has been awarded a one year task order worth $110.3 million for the development of of a virtual classroom that will be deployed to conduct training between schoolhouse instructors and remote training facilities and Army Reserve components.
General Dynamics Information Technology, a division of General Dynamics, was awarded the contract under the Information Technology Enterprise Technology Solutions -2 Services (ITES-2S) contract.
“General Dynamics will utilize its systems-integration expertise to execute this project well and on time, providing services to aid the U.S. Army’s Training and Doctrine Command’s modernization efforts, ” said Zannie Smith, senior vice president at General Dynamics Information Technology. “The need for continuing education has become more and more important to meet mission requirements and readiness.”
