Army banking on QinetiQ North America’s intelligence

On Wednesday, QinetiQ North America announced that it has been awarded a contract by the Army Sustainment Command (ASC), a major subordinate command of the Army Materiel Command, worth almost $10.3 million.

The contract calls for QinetiQ North America’s subsidiary, Analex Corporation, to provide a broad range of intelligence analysis support services to ASC headquarters on Rock Island Arsenal and with selected Army Field Support Brigades and subordinate battalions.

“We are very pleased to continue our long relationship with the Army Sustainment Command’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence and Security, ” says William Torpey, senior vice president of QinetiQ North America’s Security and Intelligence Business Unit. “Intelligence analysis is one of our core competencies, and we are delighted ASC has chosen to come to us for this support.”
