Prestigious product award goes to Harris Corp.

Yesterday, the Beijing International Radio, Film, and Television Equipment Exhibition (BIRTV)  honored Harris Corporation with an Outstanding Product Award in the category of Video and Broadcast Production, for its ACO6800+ series of automatic switchover products. The series delivers a comprehensive solution addressing a wide range of automatic switchover applications. In addition to intelligent audio, video and ASI probing for advanced fault detection and automated switchover, and clean/quiet switching for smooth transitions, the AC6800+ISCST supports full audio and video frame synchronization.

“We are delighted to have been awarded this prestigious BIRTV award for our series of automatic switchover cards, which are designed for facilities that must turn around large numbers of transport stream signals, such as satellite direct-to-home operations, cable head-ends, and mobile TV and IPTV operations, ” said Stephen Wong, vice president of Asia-Pacific operations for Harris Broadcast Communications. “With the wide-ranging ACO series, we are able to shape the solution according to the end-user’s specific needs and support a wide range of monitoring requirements.”
