SRA earns contract from Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas

On Wednesday, SRA International announced that it has been awarded a contract from the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas. The contract could potentially run for five years and be worth $16.2 million if all options are exercised.

“CPRIT is a new client for SRA and will set the example for other states conducting cancer research and providing grants to scientists, ” said SRA Health and Civil Services senior VP Max Hall. “We plan to bring our 20 years of proven scientific rigor and expertise to the overall solution of grants management for CPRIT.”

The contract calls for the Fairfax-based company to provide scientific peer review support and grants management services for research and prevention grants. Specifically, SRA will provide its expertise in the areas of scientific management, IT solutions, and meetings planning and execution.
