NCI puts stamp on new USCENTCOM headquarters for $12.7M


Yesterday, NCI, Inc. announced that it has received a task order to provide engineering and implementation services for a Multi-Level Video Information System (MVIS) Project for the U.S. Central Command’s (USCENTCOM) new headquarters at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida. The task order has an estimated value of $12.7 million.

Under the terms of the contract, NCI will engineer, furnish, install, test and provide training for the MVIS in multiple conference rooms, command briefing rooms and operations centers in the facility. The contract runs through May of 2011.

“We are very pleased to have been selected by the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC) to provide the MVIS for the USCENTCOM headquarters at MacDill Air Force Base, ” said NCI president Terry W. Glasgow. “This work expands NCI’s audio visual engineering support portfolio, having recently completed similar efforts for USAISEC at Fort Carson and Fort Riley.”
