Navy and Air Force contract Northrop Grumman

Northrop Grumman has announced the awarding of two separate contracts, both in service of the U.S. military.

One was awarded to the company’s shipbuilding unit, Amsec LLC, and came from the Navy. The contract is worth $455 million, and calls for Amsec to provide hull, mechanical, electrical and electronic system alteration and installation services.

The other contract, announced by the Pentagon, was awarded by the Air Force to both supply and support battlefield airborne communications systems. The contract is worth $35.5 million.
