Michael Robertson Named GSA’s Chief Acquisition Officer


The General Services Administration has named former Obama aide Michael Robertson as chief acquisition officer (CAO) and associate administrator of government-wide policy.  Robertson joined the GSA in February as the White House liaison, and will continue to serve in that capacity. In addition, he will direct the Office of Governmentwide Policy, which develops and evaluates policies for management of the federal government’s internal operations, and as CAO, Robertson will review and develop the GSA’s acquisition policies and procedures.
