ManTech Awarded $11M Contract by Defense Intelligence Agency


ManTech International Corp has been awarded an $11 million contract for continued development of the social-networking type program in use within the intelligence community. The Web 2.0 application allows for secure access to large databases of texts, images, and video in the intelligence community across numerous classifications with the proper control.

“ManTech recognizes the value of leveraging Web 2.0 technologies to enhance collaboration across the IC and DoD and will continue to apply new, innovative solutions to improve and expand A-Space, ” added Michael Kushin, senior vice president and CTO, ManTech International Corp.

The A-Space (Analytical Space) program had already been developed in a previous government contract by ManTech The new contract awarded by the Defense Intelligence Agency has a base year and the options for the subsequent years.

The Fairfax-based ManTech has partnered with SAIC, NavStar, and Jive Software for the new contract.
