NCI Wins $16.4M For Naval SMART Program

 NCI, Inc. has been awarded a $16.4 million task order from the Naval Postgraduate School SMART Program Office. Th one-year base with four option years contract  began August 1, 2009. The contract will primary be carried out in Monterey,  California; San Diego, California; Randolph AFB, Texas; Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland; and Arlington, Virginia.

As the primary contractor for the task order,  NCI will provide scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in technology and science with the hopes of creating a strong workforce for the Department of Defense. Participants will serve as summer interns, return to school in the fall, and then work for the DoD after graduation.NCI will be helping the DoD with recruitment tactics and be an executive agent for the SMART Program.
