Lockheed Martin Announces Acquisition Of Gyrocam Systems LLC


Lockheed Martin will acquire the privately-owned military surveillance company Gyrocam Systems LLC, details of the acquisition have yet to be disclosed. Lockheed has said that the terms of the agreement are not material and that it hopes the process will be completed by September 30th.

Headquartered in Sarasota Florida, Gyrocam supplies surveillance and reconnaissance ground vehicle technology to the US Army, Air Force and Marine Corps with personnel located in Washington D.C., Afghanistan, and Iraq. Gyrocam will be placed in the Lockheed Martin missile division according to the press release.
