The Forbes Small Business Top 100 list has named Versar, a Springfield-based government provider of management and technological services as well as environmental health and safety services, as the highest ranked small business in our area. Versar was ranked number 14, compared to number 54 last year. The Forbes business ranking system includes the 100 fastest growing small businesses worth up to $200 million.
Versar, an engineering, security and environmental services provider, has acquired Louis Berger Services from Canada-based WSP Global for an undisclosed sum.
