Booz Allen Hamilton wins Open Enterprise 2009 Innovation Award

Booz Allen Hamilton has been awarded the Open Enterprise 2009 Innovation Award for the successful implementation of its Enterprise 2.0 portal, hello.bah.com.

Hello.bah.com, established in August 2008, allows Booz Allen employees to blog, create wikis, and communicate with people with shared interests. It is designed to help employees retrieve information faster, contribute to professional and alumni communities, find mentors, build their brands, and network with colleagues.

“We’re honored to receive this award. Hello highlights the strength of innovation across the firm, our people and our connections to the communities that tie us together, ” said Walton Smith, Booz Allen Senior Associate

Open Enterprise 2009 is a project that seeks to define what “Enterprise 2.0” status means and distinguish companies that are truly “Enterprise 2.0.”
